North area of Menorca
The northern part of Menorca is one of the most beautiful regions of the island.
It is characterised by its beaches of reddish sand , somewhat stony sand, its crystalline waters and its wild natural landscape, full of beautiful cliffs that give shape to the numerous coves and beaches of this area of Minorca.
Some of the best known beaches in the area are Cala Tirant, Cala Pregonda , Cala Mica, Cavalleria, Cala Pilar. There are also several charming fishing villages , such as Fornells and Es Mercadal, and a large number of hiking routes in the area.
